It's been well-established that Egyptian history properly began with the election of Soter Ptolemy to the presidency in 305 BCE, beating the incumbent president Tootincommon in a landslide victory. During his term, Ptolemy renamed the previous "Persian Republic" to the "United States of Egypt" and instituted many reforms that would eventually lead to Egypt's rise as a popular destination for travellers and Instagram influencers. Ptolemy's biggest achievement was the construction of the Pyramids of Geezer, a large commercial district on the outskirts of Philadelphia known to locals simply as "The Geezer Strip."
Similar to modern day Glastonbury, the Geezer Strip featured many reputable occult shops and mystery cults. Like most civilizations along the Mediterranean, the Egyptians borrowed most of their culture from Athens.
