Much UK folklore associated with black dogs. I had my own experience whilst walking in the Welsh hills. The walk goes past a Neolithic tomb then on across grassland before descending for some distance through old forest. The area is very active magically with old forces at work. After the tomb we were picked up by a large black dog that appeared from nowhere and seemed to shepherd us down the path. When we got too far behind it barked until we got closer.. There was a sense of being watched from the woods, possibly not the most friendly of feelings. Once we got out of the woods onto the main road the dog vanished. Not a sign of it anywhere. Magical or just a dog? Who knows but why was it so far from any habitation, why did it escort us for about two miles and it definitely seemed to have our wellbeing in mind.

I think you may greatly have misunderstood.

Someone, I ‘was’ very close to is an adult worker. She has psychological reasons rather than monetary ones, as many do from what I gather from those in the know.

I can count on one hand who I will allow physically close to me. I completely understand the metaphysics in a sexual union, some might say I’m balls deep in how strongly I feel about it. 😉 I have to inject humour some might say it’s a defence, but I just make myself laugh. What I choose or think for me isn’t necessarily how I feel about others.

I watch people lie consistent mirroring me and I know their stories aren’t true because they are my stories. Or stories they have built around mine. To be a good liar you have to be consistent and I will use a lie to trip up a liar.

I really enjoyed this wee tale possibly because when you read someone’s narrative your imagination becomes the director of the film in your head. It’s why books are better than films.

I enjoyed reading you blog LI. The Fae Collecter this is my experience. I live semi rural so my little town as a lot of green land when the big wigs with fat wallets are not trying to build on it and destroy it but that's another topic. I have much respect for the Fae after all we are on their land not they are on ours. My local park offers array of trees for land fae I drawn there because of the amount of willow trees the willow is my favourite so are the whisps. I have slipped up though after helping a family rid of their fae attachment the fae in question stood outside my home and screamed it was seen and heard by my guests and my guests where very scared. It then stolen from me so I apologise and brought it off with a ransom silver coins plants and herbs. It stayed around but was quiet so I decided I was going to try so witch to fae connection that fae I now work along side me even at my new house we have a working relationship. I have collected few more from the local area too I move fae on they can reside in a different part of their land.

Exciting post for lots of reasons. I love it when people teach through their experiments, particularly when they share those that didn't go as they wanted.

Crystals have a vibration. It’s physics, geology. Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, biology, nuclear physics, meteorology, astronomy, cosmology, climatology, and of course logic.

So, the ridiculous eye-rolling on this subject vibrates at a much lower frequency than the crystals. Although that's sufficient, those who study earth sciences must laugh so hard at the utterance that crystal magic is some Billy Basic Magic, with Magic being both an Art and a Science.

That said, I am suffering from reverse snobbery when it comes to Magic currently. I'm a proper barefoot dancer. BPM is fast and furious. I am abundant in the things that matter, and my brain is full of tremendous cheer-inducing chemicals.

Crystals are not any different from a chalkstone pulled from a stream or a flint stone that drew my attention to the country park. Or the herbs growing on the window sill. In Scotland, on Skreel, you can pick up amethyst as you ascend or descend.

I wear crystals daily, and ordinarily, I have one particular crystal that people buy me, which always amuses me because I understand why. They always say the crystal drew them in, making them think of me. I’d be insulted if I didn’t understand the relevance.

Although it’s a great exercise to work out what another witch's correspondences are.

I really like this post. It’s given me a greater understanding of some ways that connections can be made and used.

I tend to overthink in the sense that I want everything to be far more complicated. I wonder if years of being immersed in “scientific facts and evidence” had stunted my once far more free thinking mind. 🤔

I think this is very interesting. Off the top of my head, I’d say to call those energies separately to you and spend some time with each of them, so that each time you do it you get someone you recognize. Now Hermanubis will contain those energies but more. I don’t think it’s as simple as combining two energies, rather allowing them to combine on their own and see how they do that…or better, how does the person of Hermanubis express his own energy, which is a combination but exists independently, with his own personality? And do you recognize that each time you call it?
