"Thoth Mystery School"
The 'Thoth Mystery School' is not some Ancient Secret Society, (or some modern club masquerading as Ancient either). Instead it is actually an experiment started in 2018, by two experienced magical practitioners L & C.
Some people call us Witches, some Occultists, and even some Sages, but we don’t care much for semantics. The ‘Thoth Mystery School’ originally started as a ‘Witchcraft Shop’ at least that was its public face. The main aim of this experiment was to see if anyone who claimed to want to learn and understand Magic, could actually make it to a higher level of practice, beyond the great Abyss, simply with the right guidance.
The Witchcraft Shop made the perfect vehicle for us to both fund occult experimentation (classes in occult science) and of course for us to meet incredible people who were seeking the secrets to making magic actually work.
Many ask ‘why the name Thoth?’ but in order to fully understand the answer to this question you would already probably need a basic understanding of running multi-dimensional / multi-plane levels of organizations. The short answer to why ‘Thoth’ is that, managing the teaching of a bunch of humans all over the world requires us to keep an eye on many things. Some of which we really don’t want to know (not all of our students are as sweet as cherry pie).
Many Covens, Occult Societies and Organizations partner up with Spirits in order to be more efficient and get jobs done on other planes (multi-plane micromanaging you could call it), many covens of course create and utilize Fetches, but given that we wanted to be efficient and run what's essentially a Witchcraft / Occult School figured we would see ‘what out there’ would be willing to work with us on this project, but which wouldn’t interfere too much.
That call was heard by the Deity commonly known as ‘Thoth’ often associated with the Egyptian Pantheon, which is also amusing for other reasons you would need to ask us personally about.

The experiment has since evolved into something else and now people from all over the world are part of this project, which was originally started in and confined to the United Kingdom.

It is said that we are all "standing on the shoulders of giants", however looking at the state of public magical practice in the 21st Century, all we seem to find is stuffy old Ceremonial Magicians pouring over 'The Lesser Key of Solomon' and Neo-pagans begging Goddesses for help feeding them cheap incense cones (or worse over priced ones.)

We believe in taking the great works of others and pushing them further, the Apprentice should always surpass the Master.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly ...
The world of the Occult is no place for children or fools and many would-be Witches or Magicians need to keep their wits about them, or else fall prey to both mundane and magical evils.
The ‘Thoth Mystery School’ has two human, but far from mundane founders (L & C), neither of which can be trusted to be sweet, adorable fluffy bunnies. Over the years there have been many rumors and horror stories shared within the community about how the two have used magic to put students in jeopardy in order to teach students a lesson, and we can confirm proudly that some of these rumors are in fact true.

​You see the ‘Thoth Mystery School’ is a true occult organization which prepares you for delving into the occult world, which of course can be a very mean and nasty place. “We simply allow mentees to explore the perils of real world magic in a reasonably safe and supervised way” but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be all sunshine a Roses.
If you choose to be mentored by either of the Founders then it won't be an easy path but we can promise you that you will accomplish truly great things (we know this because you will be gently forced too.)
L&C have created a number of online courses and opportunities for members of the Mystery School’ to participate in, and members can progress at their own pace, however “people who want to join us need to actually do magic and the path of the Arte can be a bumpy one.”
“Neither of us believe in pushing morality on our mentees and it’s for the sovereign individual practitioner to decide how far they want to go and what paths they wish to walk … there is always cause and effect and smart magical planning involves understanding and predicting exactly what effect the work you do will have … everyone is different and some will be happy to cause harm, others won't be, but it’s not our job to teach right from wrong, instead it’s our job to show how to make magic work, it’s up to you to decide what you want to do with that power after all this universe is tiny and in the grand scheme of things nothing that happens here really matters, which gives you a lot of power when you think about it.”
