= Invasive spirit to Earth on the 3 dimensional plane

This is normally the sort of thing we tend to put on the Thoth Witchcraft Patreon, but I’m going to post this on here today and see how many people follow along with this.
I have been working more and more with plant spirit allies, not just because we have one or two mentees who are interested in this subject at the moment, but also because I am in the process of designing a line of magical oils and other products for mundanes to use at the Witchcraft Shop (some of them need a big helping hand lol.)
It got me thinking about bacteria and more specifically single celled organisms in general. There are so many around and yet they go under the radar for most if not pretty much everyone. You will get many witches who work with spirits of the dead, many who work with plant allies, but how many of you have tried working with single celled organisms, bacteria and viruses?
As you would imagine there was a little bit of a similarity to some of the plants I have worked with, at least on an energetic level in terms of how its soul works and is structured. I did however make an unusual and potentially unnerving discovery which is what this post is actually going to be about but it will probably take some explanation (I know not all of you are quite as crazy as I am lol.)
I noticed that there was a little something stuck to the bottom of my shoe, I have no idea what it was or even where it came from but I know I must have trodden in it somewhere. The problem was that I only noticed after I trapsed it into the house and got it on the carpet. I wouldn’t normally have started analyzing it magically to be honest as I'm not that much of a crazy witch but the consistency of it was strange somehow.
Before I reached for the stain remover (which took no less than 8-9 attempts to remove the bloody stain) I took a little sample and thought I would go through the usual scratch testing method we use at ‘Thoth’ to help us analyze people's psychic ability. What I felt was something very strange indeed. It felt very much as if it didn’t belong here (and not just on the carpet in my house lol.)
I was able to analyze its energetic bodies or what we normally refer to as the lower regions of its soul, but I felt a lot of displacement. Normally things we work with on the physical plane tend to lead directly to its astral body (ok maybe there are a few other minor energetic centers before that but they're boring so who bothers with them ayy lol.) The difference here was that it was leading me not towards the astral but instead somewhere more astral adjacent.
I tried to feel the place I traced it back to, but it was very fucking difficult and for me that’s strange and scary lol. I was able to get some insight as it was a realm not unlike the Fae realm, a place which modern scientists would most likely call another universe. I couldn't fully manifest there because of course my psyche trapped in this human body wasn’t compatible. This is one of the many secrets of dealing with certain spirits such as the Fae. Many think they live and are from here but there not although they do occasionally visit and can visit because their realm although is very different to ours is not fully the same, there are different laws which govern their realm (laws of physics).
Yes we actually went there lol.
Anyway back to the spirit linked to the germ, bacterial thingy. Well from what I can tell it was using this cell or bacteria as it’s physical body, a way to get a lock on this realm.
There is a reason why witches have such power here and it’s because we have solid physical bodies, we are very much integrated into this physical realm / realm / universe and that gives us a solid footing when dealing with things which don’t. Other spirits struggle to manifest here and do seek a vessel (not too dissimilar to the horror movies with Demons possessing random scream queens lol).
Ultimately I can’t be certain of exactly what it wanted and why it was here as the language as psychology was just too different from mine. I do have a number of ways of getting around this but that honestly not for a post like this (#SharedOfficeSpace), instead after removing it I thought the best thing to do was to banish it and remove it from my surroundings.
Once the stain was removed I burned the sample I was using to analyze it (or did I lol?)
Very compelling. From a certain point of view, microorganisms inhabit an invisible world that completely overlaps the physical. Where a witch may use their psychic ability, a scientist will use swabs and microscopes to peer into the unseen. I wonder if challenges with this innate "unseen-ness" relative to us increase in the astral. I've experienced similar difficulty manifesting in the realms of leaves or grains of sand.
On the other hand, I would expect anyone regularly engaged in healing magics will have bumped up against bacterial or viral spirits at some point. A reason why many of the "an' it harm none" practitioners are doomed to failure, if not mediocrity.
