Raiders of the Lost Crystal

Who knows what I was thinking of when I came up with this title but what the hell. Today I thought I would talk a little about crystal bitches, oh I mean crystal witches lol.

I can’t stand all this New Age build a collection of crystal dildos and wave them about over people chakra reiki shit to be honest. I’m not knocking the practice of energetic manipulation and even the use of crystals for magic, but I mean seriously WTF.

I have always said you don’t need a crystal bible to tell you what to do with a crystals as the crystal will tell you what to do with it. I like to take an organic / intuitive approach to spell casting and magic most of the time. For me this means bonding with, exploring and getting to know the tools and ingredients I use for magic. I never ever look up correspondences in a book and on the rare occasion I use a book it’s normally a herbal and for medical reasons (combining healing magic with medical science).

I don’t want to go off to far on a tangent and if you want to collect and use crystals in your practice then go ahead, I mean sure a bunch on slaves probably died in some third world country trying to get that little shiny thing out of the ground for you and then of course there's the old carbon footprint stuff people also moan about when it comes to importing crystals and stuff, but maybe all that human sacrifice adds to the energy somehow lol (I have a dark sense of humor if you hadn’t notice.)

Anyway onto the main part of this blog post. I wish to officially announce that I think I have become a crystal bitch lol. I once spotted a crystal in a crappy occult shop in the UK once and since then it just wouldn’t leave my mind. Ever since I saw it I knew I had to have it. Well a specific chapped version of it anyway. Well guess what guys I have finally found and bought it.

The crystal is called Merlinite (not to be confused with Mystic Merlinite) and it’s a little unusual. I tend to use it mostly as a kind of metaphysical USB stick, storing information into it but intend to give it to one or two clients who might need a little hint or help while on their various magical quests. It’s a funny little crystal pendant and seems to developed a bit of an attachment / open doorway to my natural cleansing system and I have so far found it useful when wanting to give others (usually mundanes) a quick and easy disposal method / drain for some of the nasty things their struggling to get rid of.

This was an unusual post I know and I'm not too sure where my work with this Merlinite crystal is going but hey, watch this space I guess. Who knows what I might do with it, I like it alot better than all that Rose Quartz I use for cursing people's love lives lol.
